A Broadmoor Mid-century Renovation
As prime building sites become rarer in exclusive areas, many homeowners find a favorable alternative in updating and expanding their homes using sustainable principals and updated contemporary styling. This Broadmoor Mid-century Renovation project by Hammers for Hire is currently under construction using just these principles.
Located on the fringes of the old historic Broadmoor area, our clients inherited the home from aging parents. This home was originally designed by a local design firm and we were fortunate enough to work with the home’s original blueprints and the additions from the late 1950s. Keeping with the contemporary, but updated style, a second floor addition has been designed to allow additional living space and to capture the exceptional views of the city lights to the east. Additionally, we've added volume to ceiling heights, improved energy efficiency in poorly insulated roofs and updated the heart of the home - the kitchen area.
No job is too large or too small for the talented team at LGA Studios. We are pleased to also work with locally owned Colorado Springs remodelers Kenton Pass and Company and DA Johnson, Inc.
