North Middle School’s Library Remodel
(One of LGA Studios most unique projects!)
Our Client: Well, the school, but mostly a group of International Baccalaureate middle school students who helped to create a library that bridges the gap between an inner city middle school and its very diverse neighborhood.
Because North Middle School is an I.B. School, kids from all over the school district are dropped off daily by their parents, as well as latch key kids (who sometime’s call North Middle School their second home) within the surrounding area. The library remodel was funded by private donations and the exceptional talents of Colarelli Construction who donated their time to demolition and remodeling this new Urban Style Library during the school’s short two week Christmas break.
The excitement continued during the ribbon cutting ceremony, when Governor Bill Ritter paid a surprise visit to speak directly the volunteer’s district representatives and students who helped create the outstanding project.
LGA is pleased to have been involved with many fine commercial projects throughout Colorado including fire and ambulance stations constructed by Merritt General Contractors as well as many other churches, office buildings, restaurants, commercial retail centers and manufacturing facilities.
